Geen acties dit jaar? Natuurlijk wel!
Alle groepen kunnen wel wat extra inkomsten gebruiken om de kas te spekken.
Ze doen mee met landelijke acties als Jantje Beton, Grote Clubactie en Scouting loterij. Daarnaast hebben veel groepen hun eigen acties, veelal in het laatste deel van het jaar.
Ook die dreigden door de coronamaatregelen (zoals niet langs de deuren gaan) in het water te vallen. Gelukkig kwam ook hier het Scouting improvisatietalent goed van pas. Diverse groepen zijn druk bezig (geweest) om hun jaarlijkse actie coronaproof vorm te geven.
De Valkeniers verkopen altijd koekjes. Normaal gebakken door een grote groep vrijwilligers en ouders in het clubgebouw. Nu schoot restaurant Morille te hulp. In hun professionele keuken en met hun bak-kundige hulp konden op een veilige manier toch de bestelde koekjes gebakken worden. Door middel van een drive-through kon men de bestelde koekjes bij het clubhuis afhalen.
In Terneuzen hoeft niemand het zonder de oliebollen van de Doormangroep te doen. Ze zijn via facebook of mail te bestellen en worden coronaproof thuisbezorgd. Ook kunnen ze veilig worden afgehaald.
Scouting Hertog van Beijeren-Gosaha ging ook op de digitale toer. Zij verkopen altijd amaryllisbollen en grote speculaaspoppen. Ze hadden dit jaar een handig online bestelformulier gemaakt.
Ook de Lodewijkgroep moest een andere manier verzinnen om hun mini-kerstbomen aan de man de brengen. Niet aan de deur maar via e-mail konden mensen hun boompje(s) bestellen. Ze konden ze afhalen bij clubhuis ‘De Kwet’. Coronaproof natuurlijk.
De Lutem verkoopt dit jaar kerstkaarten. Speciaal voor de groep ontworpen door Channa en Nina, dus uniek! De setjes van vier kaarten zijn via een speciale link te bestellen en op een zaterdag veilig af te halen bij het clubhuis.
Scouting Zierikzee hield een fundraise actie. Alweer een paar maanden geleden maar zo leuk dat we hem graag nog vermelden. Alle speltakken, van bevers tot explorers maakten gave artikelen die via een heuse catalogus op de website te bestellen waren.
Een bever fotolijst, een nostalgische of juist moderne waxinelichthouder, een stoer Scouting T-shirt, blitse handgeknoopte dasringen. En voor de inwendige mens apenbollen (soort minibolussen) en kruidnoten.
Scouting ’t Jagertje ziet kans de jaarlijkse kerstbrodenactie toch door te laten gaan. Ze doen dit in samenwerking met De Boulangerie uit Hulst. Hoewel: kerstbrodenactie dekt de lading niet helemaal. Er is keuze uit drie producten. Naast een Bourgondisch rozijnenbrood zijn dat een roomboterstaaf met amandelspijs en ministolletjes. De bestellingen worden thuisbezorgd.
